The slaughter sale of the entire
stock of L. H. Burroughs started on
Monday after court week and is still
going on, the goods being handed out
at first cost and less. The assignee
and agent of creditors secured the
services of W. W. Russ to conduct and
manage this sale, lie is a merchant
connected with the firm of Russ Bros.
He is one of the best salesmen in the
city. The sale still continues with a
large force of salesmen.?adv.

the lower part of the county last week
by the Critical illness of his daughter,
