Floyds township is building first
class sand-clay roads from the Marion
Coo?ty line through the township.
There is about two miles finished
marking good some of the worst sand
beds in the County.
These new roads are being constructed
under the new road law, supplemented
by private means. In the
matter of private aid, great cooperation
and public spirit has been shown,
as many as 20 teams having been furnished
by the neighbors. This work
has been made possibly only under the
new law..
There was a picnic held at Flovds X
Roads last Saturday to further the interest
in this great work. Several
hundred people were present.
The speakers were as follows:
Hon. H/L. Buck on the cooperative
spirit in community and road building.
J. M. Johnson of Marion on practical
road building.
W. C. Hooks, one of the moving
spirits in the work mad ea good talk
telling the people about the work and
stating their further plans. He said
he met with great encouragement.
Attending the picnic from Conway
were: 1). V. Richardson, Hon. L. I).
Magrath, Wilfred Officer, T. B. Lewis,
Esqr., A. C. Murrell, Supervinsor,
Sheriff J. A. Lewis, and Hon. H. L.
Buck.

Coughs That Are Stopped!
Careful people see that they are
stopped. Dr. King's New Discovery is |
a remedy of tried merit. It has held
its own on the market for 4(5 years.
Youth and old age testify to its soothing
and healing qualities. Pneumonia
and lung troubles are oft-m caused by
delay of treatment. Dr. Kink's New
Discovery stops those hacking coughs
and relieves la grippe tendencies.
Money tack if it fails. T?0c and .$1.00.
