the way. The whiskey problem has
claimed the attention of political economists
from time out of mind, and the
matter is still far from being settled.
Some of our farmers have happily
learned the lesson of never neglecting
the home supplies. Make all of these
that is needed and then as much of a
money crop as possible is now the
generally understood plan of the great
majority of the farmers of this county.
They have remembered it, this
year. Look at the fields of corn!

This will be a great county indeed
when the time arrives that all the
woods spaces are cleared into corn
and cotton fields. Talk about a great
agricultural county! This State never
saw such as Horry will be when all of
the woods land in the county has been
cleared up and planted.
