Bryan here, returned to her home in Ridgeway Wednesday. * * A Record Potato. Mr. R. C. Anderson brought a sweet potato to Conway last Monday which measured in circumference one way 25 inches and the other way 16 1-2 inches, was a Porto Rica yam and was one of the finest developed sweet potatoes ever seen here.^ Mr. Anderson has a fine crop of them this year. The first pea blossom ever sent in to The Herald came last week from Mr. Calvin Strickland of Causey, S. C. Secretary Garrison expressed doubt that Mexicans from over the border were responsible for all the Jisturbanoes and emphas;zed that the troubles had no connection with Mexican internal affairs. "Conditions on the border," said Mr. Garrison, r'have no political significance .
