Officials.
Washington, June 10.?The American
note to Germany concerning the
Y sinking of the Lusitania, which precipitated
the crisis in President Wilson's
cabinet, was believed her to have
reached Ambassador Gerard in Berlin,
early today. It was expected that the
ambassador would present the com%

out tonight for publication tomorrow
i morning. In the meantime, President
Wilson has asked that detailed forecasts
of the note bo not published.
It is understood here that the German
government will not make answer
to the American note until after
Meyer Gherard, the special o?-?voy elmsen
by Ambassador Ik n .d ">rff, arises
at PerMn and explains the situation
iThis. it is estimated will take at least
fc. a week or ten days.
It became known today .that just before
Prosi lent Wilson's now note to
Germany was forwarded to Merlin yes
terd.av, it was shown to former Secretary
Pryan by Acting Secretary Lansing
at the personal direccimi of the
President.
Some slight oh? nges had been made
in the note and the President wanted
Mr. Hi van to see it In its final form.
Pending publication of the new note
tomorrow morning, officials'would not
discuss its detail, but it was declared
it was no more in the nature of an ul
ti mat urn than was the first. It makes
it very plain, however that the United
rjk States expects Germany to cease attacks
cn American ships and citizens.

In Loving Memory of Our Mother fl
MARY SARAH GORE
Just before the glorious rays of the
morning sun, broke the quiatude of
those that were peacefully slumbering
of last Tuesday morning, May 11th, $
1915, no sorrow hovered only oven
those that felt and saw the dear motherly
hands growing: weaker, and the
life gradually flickering from her as
the dear Angel came and most quietly
and calmly bore the mantled spirit
of our dear mother, Mary Sarah Gore, p
age (55 years to her Heavenly home,
where there will be no more suffering
and death; all will be peace, joy and
love.
Although we feel as if everything _
fl
had been done for her that loving
and kind hands could do, but still it is
not easy to see the dear old hands
that have been so mothering to us;
these many years at last laid to rest,I
but maybe the life which vanished as
we watched the ebbing tide of life!
leave this dear old mother may still
be at its work by helping and serving ^
Him that has blessed us with such a c

She was loft a widow with five (
small children to support thirty-two t

day after day and trusted in God who 1
had taken her loving companion away. *
to help her support and show these 1
little ones the way to everlasting life
where she wished for them all to be '
gathered without a broken tic in their '
little family circle. :
| Surely she must have seen the glory 1
