B The cotton committee of Senators I and Representatives has been busy I all day, but has not yet come to a con elusion as to details of action. It was determined that the markets of the belt be kept open as long as possible and an opportun- ~ ity afforded the planters to dispose of their tobacco at best prices obtainable, but the warehousemen are unit ! r ited in the decision not to urge the r sale of tobacco under present condi- c tions, but on the other hand to (lis- t courage it. They do not consider that it is wise to rush the markets. Follow i ing is the resolution passed by the Association. | "To the Tobacco Planters of South I\ Carolina: At a meeting of the South rl Side Tobacco Warehouse Association v' as a committee appointed to inform the present tobaaco situation, we submit the following: .
