Commission will hold an open com*petitiye
examination, at Conway, S.
C.\ on Saturday, April 25th, to (ill
vacancies in the position of rural
carrier at Conway and Allen, S, C.
The salaries of those positions range
from $484.00 to $1,100.00 per year:

1914, the death angel visited the
home of Mr. and Mrs. H. J? Mlshoe.
jr., and took from the.a their u?rling
Utile babe. It was about six months
old and loved by all who knew it.
All that loving friends and a kind |
physician could do did not stay the
oold and icy hands of death. Oh, it
was so hard to give it up but the all
wise God knew bed and took it to
live with him. It is now walking
the streets of gold
It leave8 a father, moiher, one sister
and one brother, and a host of
relatives and friends to mourn the
loss, but our loss is It's eternal gain.
We mourn not as those who have no
hope.
Another little lamb is gone
To live with Him who gave,
Another little darling bate
Is sheltered in the grave.
