News From Horee.
Health of the community is very
good at the present, except a few
bad colds.
1 wish to correct an error in a recent
isssue of the Herald in regards
to Mr, Matthew Brown's new residence
it is net a residence, but a
barn which of cours* is a great improvement.
Mr. and Mrs. Whitcford Babon
spent a day at Horee recently on
business.
Mr. Oscar Allen attended the
show at Cooks Sidiug Tuesday and
reports having a nice time.
Mr. Dave Hughes was a pleasant
caller at Mr A S. Alford's recently.
Mr. K. P. Booth was seen here last
Sunday evening.
Miss Lutie Caitrette is attending
the Horry Industrial School at this
place.
Mr. A. S. Alford is going into the
tobacco business this year. We
wish for him much success and a
good crop.
Mrs. Cordie Tompkins of the Qalivants
Ferry section has returned
home after spending a week here

It seems that semeone is using a

these goods were sold at public sale
under.a chattel mortgage held by
the 1st National Bank of Conway,

J Johnson made the highest bid auo
the goods were knocked down to
them. Later the money was tendered

sale the plaintiffs had purchased iht *
