Mil. * It is deplorable when mere boys undertake to break the law and thus bring despair and disgrace to the parents. Often such things are the results of a lark of restraint and attention given the children on the part of the fathers and mothers, the fathers especially. ?Ot When the boy or girl is out of the school, some parents allow them to go at large, so that they hardly can tell where they are during the twenty four hours of the day. This is wrong. K ep them so that you kuow where, they are, and if they disobey, punish them. ?oTne school is a great \ie1p in the bringing up and proper training of the boys and girls of the day/ Too often the parents interfere with the ^ 1 teacher in his efforts to restrain the boy or girl in the practice of bad habits and character building. The father or mother who does this com-nits a crime against the future man or woman and indirect lj a critn eagainst the communi'j. Catron, Ky.?In an interesting letter from this place, Mrs. Bettie Bullock writes as follows: "1 suffered for four years, with womanly troubles, and during this time, I could only sit up foy a little while, and could not walk anywhere at all. At times, I would have severe pains tn my left side. The doctor was called in, and his treatment relieved me for a while, but 1 was soon confined to my bed again. After AI..A ' * * inai, notmng seemed to do me any good. I had gotten so weak I could not stand, and 1 gave up in despair. At last, my husband got me a bottle of Cardul, the woman's tonic, and 1 commenced taking it Krom the very first dose, I could tell it was helping me.
