I The minds of some men are too narrow to conceive a sing'e one of * the big thoughts that spring out of J the feitile brain of others. Many are already telling what they expect to do to encourage and aid the Horry County Fair Association in making the fair for 19x4 a greater success than the first. This is encouraging. ?O > The recent county fair held here 116 not u circumstance to what the people of this county may have in t he future. There is not a doubt but what the fairs will be held from year to year, and t hey will go on getting better and better. Horry has the foundation. ? () - < Now is the accepted time to make i here in Conway all of the modern imptovements en joyed by other towns, many of which are smaller j in financial means than Conway, if not smaller in size. The time to act is now so that 8mho of us may ' reap the benefit while we live. C c -O- ,j V The readers of thia paper were no u doubt glad to see by means of a J V n ws item in our last issue, that the r initial step has been taken toward c making a goo 1 road from Conway to Ji a Mjrile H.'ach byway of ihe new steel bridge# The supervisor says t that by December they expect to iti. S have the road bed in good condition as fa* as >he high lauds on the other h, s de of the river. At the foot of p the hill twill he pons ble to join the 'r road to other public roads running w t rough r ocaatee township, and ^ Cfl there will be a n ar cut to the Sun;- o mer icsort, regardless of whether they are ably to run the road straight through to the beach or not. ^ At soon a? the road has been bullp (S t) the hills the people on ther oth side of the rivtr o ightto get interest l?1 bh ed and take steps at once to carry ay the roid on through. We feel suie j that they will .lo this. ' w DANGEROUS CALOMEL GOING OUT OF USE A Safer, More Reliable Remedy Has Taken Its Place in the Drug Store and in the Home. A few years ago, men, women and children took calomel for a sluggish liver and for constipation. They t >ok risks when they did ho, for calomel is a dangerous drug. Your family doctor will be the first to t?H you this if he discovers you dosing yourself with calomel. But the drug trade has found a safer, more pleasant remedy than calomel in Dodson's Liver Tone. Norton Drug Co , tells us that their drug store sells Dodson's Liver Tone in practically every case of biliousness and liver trouble where calomel used to be taken. Dodson's Liver Tone is a vegetable liver tonic that is absolutely harmless for children and grown people. It sells for 50 cents a bottle aud is guaranteed to be entirely satisf.icory by Norton Drut/Co., who will rtund your money with a smile if it does not give quick, gentle relief without a y of cal mel's unpleasant ifter-etTeotP.
