Children*) Day at Totfdville.
The childrens day exercise at Union
church last Sunday was a great
success Much time had been taken
to drill the children and each one
acted his part well
Before the exercise began, neai
programs vere htnded out to the
Congregation. The decoration was
simple and neat.
One of the pleasi g features was
little Emily Armstrong who is
quite young in years to be on the
stage.
After the exercise a collection
was taken and a neat little sum real
iaed.
Much credit should be given Migs
Jessie Dusenbury as she not onl]
trained the children, but presided
at the organ and helped to furnist
the music.
Mr U A Dusenbury had just hac
the church nicely painted both inside
and out and this added much tc
the beauty of the occasion.
Draw Game Played.
Ou last Thursday there was s
game of ball on the Conway dia
mond between the Marion and Con

the end of the 7th inning, when th<

The score stood three to three. I
is very likely that Conway woul<
