Ten years ago a big bank at tie
present site of Aynor, S. C. would
hayo been out of the question.
There was not enough money in the
county perhaps to keep one bank on
its feet a few years before that.
Now it is predicted that the new
bank at Aynor will be a success, and
we see no reason why it should not
be.

relation to the repeated filing off of ^

this trouble of loud talking, cursing
and swearing on the streets, and
acting boisterously at night, to the
disturbance of the peaceful slumbers
of good people, is not all that wo desire

to carry out packages and
bundles to customers. Tnese boys
are a source of never ending annoyance
to every man or Woman who
likes peace and quietude. Tbey are
allowed to gather up either in the
front or in the rear, just wherevor
they happen to be, and they talk and
laugh and wrestle and play "hot
jacket" cracking jokes at each other,
often falling out and perhaps ending
in a light. The racket they aro allowed
to kicic up seriously disturbs
the people who aro engaged nearby
in the transaction of business affairs,
and who need to use their minds ii
concentrated effort and act quietly.
We blame the employers for this tc
a great extent. The employer has
only to impress it on his errand boy
at the very first that he must con
luct himself in a quiet and orderly
manner while he is on or near tht
premises. Not many of them will
disobey if warned in this way, but it
they do, let them bo discharged at
once, and employ another. But
more serious still is the fact that
the little white boys of the town,
those of them who generally havt
nothing to do, frequently gather up
i with the little black ones and it is
evident that whenever this occurs
