As the buggy pass id a muddy place in the road where the automobile of Dr. J. S. Dnsenbury had slipped in the ditch, he made some remark concerning this and looked back at tho place as fcit* buggy passed on. This was the list word he said. Tho sad news - was telephoned into town from the v home or iVr. Singleton a farmer nearby. lie is survived by his wife and six children, c e ?ister and two brothers. Hi had been engaged in the contracting business at Couway for many years. He was well known and very reliable in this business. He designed and erected some of the X. Sho is a happy little angel in heaven today and no one but God can reilize how I miss my darling biby.gShe was the sweetest darling on earth to me. She was the joy of our home and was a bright and lov. ing little one and was loved dearly by us all, but God saw best to take her from us. Oh, how sweet that little yoice would ring in our ears, them sweet little eyes that shined like little stars, that loving little face that we often kissed, will be rememborfd by us all while on earth wo live, little Alice Virsie. Oh, how sweet that name is. It was dear and precious to us all, but God loved her best. All that loving hearts and willing hands could do could not stay that cold icey hanl of death. Dear little Virsie was 11 months and 13 days old when God taken the / dew little sunbeam homo with him. She leaves a father, and mother, and one little brother, grandfather and grandmother, one aunt and four uncles to mourn the loss of our dearest little darling. While we mourn, she i9 sleepir g in the arms of Jesus and by the help of God I am going bo my darling, when my earthly ? toiU* is done. Dearest little Virsic thou has gone and left mamma, but your loving little voice I cannot hear, that precious little face I cannot see, them sweet little lips [ will never kiss on earth again, but sooner or later 1 will go to try little darling to nevei part no more. The Board or Trade should keep busy and never let it drop until Conway hus another road. The outlook for a good crop year is good* Farmers show that they fed encouraged and every where are making preparations for larger crops than ever. What has become of the Board of trade? There is such a thing at Conway, we know. Tho fact is, their efforts for tho past six months have so few and far between, that we hardly know they are here. J M Prince of Boston, Ga., spoilt J some time lately visiting friend.4 j and relatives here and at Boris, S. C., where Mr Prince formerly lived and grew up from boyhood. Uo is. doing well in Georgia. Farming lands have gradually gone up in value for the last ten years or longer*. The present rate of increase, year by year, exceeds the rate ten yeats ago by more than half.
