A Compromise Decision.
The County Board of Education,
composed of Messrs S H Brown,
Superintendent, of Education, and
H L Buck and M .) Bullock, held a
meeting at the ofTiee of the Board
here on Tuesday of last wrek, for
the purpose of passing upon an appeal
f-om the decision of the Board of
of Trustees of District No 26 at Cool
Sprir.g, dis missing Miss Blanche
Norton from teaching there last November.
The petition to the County
Board asked among other things
that the Board of Trustees, consisting
of Messrs K L Mi&hoo, Ii T
Booth and M M Skipper, be removed
from office, and that Miss Norton
be reinstated as teacher of the
school. The matter grew out cf
some trouble among the pupils of
the school, and the Trustees bad discharged
the teacher on the ground
hat one of the pupils had been
unreasonably punished. After a
full hearing the Board made the fol
lowing decision:
"Conway, S C., April 16, 1912.
"At a special meeting of the
Countv Board of Education, held
this 16th day of April, 1912, at Con
way, SC., to consider the matter of
the appeal of Miss Blanche Norton
from the action of K L Mishoe, R
T Booth and M M Skipper, Trustees
for Cool Spring, of School Spring
District No 26, in removing her as
teacher of said school, we, the said
Board, find: 'That Miss Norton was
unlawfully removod as teacher of
said Cool Spring school.'
"In the matter of the petition of
the patrons of said scnool for . the
removal of K L Mishoe, R T Booth
and M M Skipper, as Trustees, we
find: 'That the said Trustees should
< ' not b2 removed.'

Few Doses Stop Belching and Pains--:
Short Treatment Cured Worst
Cases.
Sufferers from indigestion stuffed
feeling, belching, bloating and pains
after meals, loss of appetite, headache,
biliousness, constipation, nervousness,
heart palpitation, shortness
of breath, and distressing forms
of stomach trouble will find nothing
that acts so quickly as a few doses
of the new Rooc Juice compound. It
is easy to take and seems to act as
quickly and surely cn the severest
cases as it does on the mildest.
H P Seay, 19 E Pavilion Street,
Atlanta, Ga., says his wife was
practically an invalid for four years
and after trying several doctors and
actually using one hundred and
forty bottles of different medicines
without results, cried Root Juice.
Two bottles worked wonders for her.
His signed statement declares, "My
wife gained in strength, has a splendid
appetite, sleeps well and feels
better than in four years. We are
delighted with results.
Mr R Dickerson, 234 W Main St.,
Ft Wayne. Ind., says. "I suffered
from gas on my stomach for years.
Doctors failed to help me. Thank
heaven, after using several bottles

As it takes in some of the beach
