As I haven't seen anything from this part of the county in sometime, please give me space for a few lines The health of this community is very good at this writing. We are not quite washed away up here yet, but have been having lots of rain and the swamps are overflowing. The first quarterly Conference of the Bucksville Circuit was held her* on the 15th aud 16th inst. Quite a crowd was out considering the bad roads ard wet \ either. The Rev R H Jones, Presiding El er, preach ed an eloquent sermon Sunday. Our school closed at High Point Widm&duy, the 20th Wo have had a very prosperous term under the most successful management of Mr. T M Lundy. We had a good old picnic there attended by a large crowd, among whom were our Superintendent, SH Brown, who gave us a good talk, and a a few friends from Conway with a candidate's smile. Sessions, Sheriff, of Horry County, will sell at public auiion to the highest bidder, before the court house door at Conway, in Horry County, and State of South Carolina, during legal hours of sale on Salesday in April next, it being the 1st (first) day of said month, all and singular those certain lands situate in Horry County, and described as follows, to wit: Number One, all and singular that certain piece, parcel or tract of land, situate, lying and being in the State and county aforesaid, Green Sea Township, containing one hundred acres, more or less, and being part of a tract of land where Caroline Fowler resides and covering all the said plantation, and bounded by lands as follows, beginning on a corner of J. C. Bryant and Franklin Grainger, thence with Grainger line nearly sooth to a stake corner in Nott's Branch, thence with the sa'?d Grainger's line westerly course to another stake l'\ B. Harrelson's theuce with the said F. B. Elarrelson's line, south to a knot corner, thence the said F. B. Harrelson's line east to a corner on George Blackburn's line, thence a straight line north to the beginning; No 2. A certain plantation or tract of land located in Green Sea township and containing one hundred and fifty acres, more or less, beginning at a stake corner in the head of Nott's branch, thence north to a stump corner at Oolphus Bryant's land, thence oast on Bryant's line to a stake corner, thence south Harrelson's line to a stake corner, thence westward to E. B.
