The health of this community is

We are not quite washed away up
here yet, but have been having lots
of rain and the swamps are overflowing.
The first quarterly Conference of
the Bucksville Circuit was held her*
on the 15th aud 16th inst. Quite a
crowd was out considering the bad
roads ard wet \ either. The Rev

Our school closed at High Point
Widm&duy, the 20th Wo have had
a very prosperous term under the
most successful management of Mr.
T M Lundy. We had a good old
picnic there attended by a large
crowd, among whom were our Superintendent,
SH Brown, who gave
us a good talk, and a a few friends
from Conway with a candidate's
smile. We aro looking for an announcement
