CAPITATION-TAX
A poll tax of one dollar for school
purposes is levied upon every male
citizen between the ages of 21 and
60 years able to earn a living, except
Confederate Veterans over 50
years of age. A capitation tax of
one dollar is levied on each dog in
the count v.
COMMUTATION ROAD TAX
Each person in the county liable
for road duty must obtain a "Road
Receipt" from the County Treasurer
before January 1, 1012, for the year
1011. This can be procured either
by paying to the Treasurer three
dollars in cash or by presenting to
the Treasurer a certificate from his
road overteer, approved by the Supvisor,
to the effect that he has performed
six days work on the section
of road to which he belongs.
FISHERY STAMPS
Fishery Stamps or Tags my be obtained
from the Treasurer at any
time. When parties order by mail,
they should enclose postage, otherwise
postage will be deducted.
