The June crop of brides promises
to be unusually large, as after that

go into effect.
As a result of the long drawn out

and the wells are failing in water.

The first Sunday train of the season
will bo operated to Mvrtlo Beach
on June 1st. A large crowd from
this place is expected to go over
to hearths wind whipo?d waves as
they cry out: Subscribe to The
Horry Herald.
If we bnd a Sunday afternoon
schedule to Myrile Beach many of
oecple would take advantage of it
to spend the afternoon at this delighiful
resort. There are many people
who do not now go because they
object to spending the entire day
over there.
We are interested to know how
the crops of th it farmer in the Biyboro
section (a Mr Cook, we think)
who plowed his land eight inches
deep, are standing this dry spell
We opine that his crop is doing better
than those who gave their land
only a top scraping.
One way to build up Conway is
for the people of Horry to make it
their home market. As an inducement
for them to make it such tho
merchants should make it a point
to mark goods down to lowest prssible
notch. There is a powerful
attraction both to the buyer and
seller in "small profits and quick
sales."
