The St. Louis Amusement Co. came in Sunday night and are showing on the yacant lot facing Main Street. R D Lewis, a former Horry boy, who is doing well iu the jewelry business at Chester, S. C., spent several days recently here with relatives. H P Little this week sold his real estate holdings near Pot BlufT to Joi.n T Watts, the consideration being $2000,00. This is a line piece of real estate being a total of nearly 300 acres. Mr Watts has been in possession of the property for the past year having made a deal which was only closed this week. In reference to the charge against Dr W J Judd, published in our last issue, the report of the physicians was made public at the hearing late in the day after this paper went to press. They testified that the crime had not been consumated, at least they found no signs of it. After hearing considerable testimony. Magistrate Sweet dismissed the case on condition that the parties leave _ the State by Monday morning. We - are not informed whether they have i^one or not.
