auditor in the recent primary, shows

which occurred in the figures as
printed in this paper last week, from the
best we can learn, came about by reason
of getting the Blanche votes for auditor
and Judge of I'robate mixed up over
the phone. The figures for the Herald
came through Mr Anderson, and the
mistake might have been Ids, or might
have been in the Herald man in taking
them down, '1 he report of the managers
t hanged the result. Some differences
were found in the El>? ne/.er vote, and
tire result as found by the executive committee

The Gem Theatre.
The Gem Moving Picture Tneatro
was opened again last Monday night
with high ciass pictures. There will
be shows each night this week, and'
during court week. After court the
show may be placed on the road for
a while, but if patronage continues
g od, may be continued hero. A
notice will appear next week as to
w lie her tho show will run on, or be
put on the road.
Tnoro will be four reels on Saturday
nights, and the people from
the country are especially invited.
