In answering Mr Holmes, T could

to trout him nicoly, use no grievous
words and take no ad van1 age of him
and if I happen litis time, to use a
big word, he may know that it is
not my intention to remind him of
going to court unless ho thinks of it
willingly.
It seems from the questions that
Mr Holmes has asked me, that ho
understood the paragraph which ho
quotes from my article in a way
that T had not thought of; though I
will not accuse him of not reading it
1 horoughly,
I 'll try now to make plain what 1
meant. My unfavorable circumstances?my
inability to converse
with one more cultivated than L
was; which J have had to do or be
mpposed to wear something which
I feel able to throw oil' very easily.
There was 110 unfairness in the
election as 1 know of, but, romcmjor
that the result of it is not what

was not lost, but if it should have
