THRUSDAY, JTJLY 14. 1010.
We opine that the JeflTries-Jobnson
fight will be the last prize fight
in the United oiates unucr me suuction
of Jaw. The public mind of the
Republic is stirred from centre to
circumference and there have been
numerous race riots all over the
country. From Maine to Texas and
from the Atlantic to the Pacific
the exhibition of the moving pictures
of that fight is prohibited by
many municipalities and States, and
the end is not yet.
Napoleon's ti'it
was of the unconquerable, nevor-saydie
kind, the kind that you need
most when you have a bad cold,
cough or lung disease. Suppose
trouches, cough syrups, cod liver
oil or doctors have all failed, don't
lose heart or hope. Take Dr King's
New Discovery. Satisfaction is
guaranteed when used for any throat
or lung trouble* It has saved
thousands of hopeless sufferers^
It matters stubborn colds,
obstiuate coughs, hemorrhages, lagrippe,
croup, asthma, hay fever
and whooping cough and is the most
safe and certain remedy for all
bronchial affections. 50c and $1.00
free at Norton Drug Co.
The Herald is informed by those
who are in a position to know whereof
they speak that the through train
to and from Wilmington does a considerable
larger passenger and mail
business than that arriving from
and departing for Chad bourn. The
reason for this is obvious. Its schedule
is more convenient to the peo
pie and its accommodations are much
hetter. Tt, also ear rips nnr mnst, im
portant mail?that going and coming
from the North, which puts it
in Conway something over twelve
hours earlier tha? heretofore. Some
of our people, at least, are well
pleased with the improved service
and so express themselves. There
is one thing lacking, however, to
make it all that could reasonably be
desired, and that is an express service
on those trains. And we will
have this, too, in the very near future
as influences are at work which
will bring it about.
