improve Horry along the line of education.
The purpose of the School Boys'
Corn Club is to improve Horry along
the line of farming. Several boys
have given me their names saying ,
that they are going to join the Corn 1
Club. As soon as possible, I want
to organise a oorn club in Horry <
and while you will be working along
a different line from the trustees <
aud patrons, 1 want you to give <
them a olose race, make the work ,
hard if they out strip you on im- I
provements. 1
The business men in different
parte of the county ?av they will
help you out bv offering prises
The men seem to oe aimost as enthuslastio
as the boys 1
In a week or two I will show you 1
through the county papers the amounts
that have been given. If you
could see them now, you would not {
hesitate long about selecting your
anre and slipping up your sleeves 1
and going to work.
The duty of organising clubs in !
different parts of the county falls on 1
the superintendent, teachers and
y- where the teacher has finished the J
school, to the trustees, I hope all ,
teachers who are a work in the
county will take up the subject at
enoe in their schools If you can't 1
get but one boy to say he will plant 1
an acre, send in his name 1
There are ninety five distriots in ,
the county. Can we get one boy in
each district to plant one acre of 1
worn? II we do not get a boy from 1
each district, I feel sure that we can .
get two or three from each of the

In next weeks paper I will oali .

want all the boys who will plant one (
more and work for a prixo to meet In

themselves elect a president, a vicepresident,
a secretary and a treasurer.
.
The boys who m?y o? cl< oted to !

I will arrange the nour of rnee ing

your names and address to
Dr Knapp at Washington. He will
furnish you with bulletins of information
on corn.

When your back gives oul;
Becomes lame, weak are aching; I

Your kidneys are 'in a bad way."
Doan's Kidney Pills will cure you.
Here is a local evidence to prove it.
Mrs. R. T. Harmon, of Conway.
S. C., says: ,4I suffered severely
from a dull pain in my back, my
head ached intensely and there was
a blurring of the eyesight. My feet
and hands became swollen and the
kidney secretions were unnatairai
and doposited a sediment, I was
run down in health and nothing
seemed to do me any good until I
procured Doan's Kidaey PilU at the
Norton Drug Co. They helped me
wondorfully and since taking them
I am feeling like a different person.
The backaches and pains have dtaappeared,
my eyesight is good and
the swellings have subsided. I can
say that Doan's Kidney Pills have
helped mo more than any other
remedy I had previously used.
