Horry in the Legislature
MrSpivey's bill disposing of the
"Oounlj Farm" and applying the
proceeds has received Us third reading
in the Senate and has been sent
to the House.
Mr Singleton has introduced a bill
in the House to ratify the acts of
the Clerk of Court and Treasurer of
Horry county in over paving witness
fees in the Court of Sessions,
Through misapprehension the witnesses
in that court were paid at a
higher rate than that allowed by
law and th's bill iJ intended to relieve
the Clerk of Court, for drawing
his warrant for the excess and the
Treasurer for paying the same. Al-o
one to amend an act so as to reduce
the height of fences in Horry.
