In Spartanburg.
Will Drown, colored, was shot and
killed by Ed Fowler, colored, Thursday
night at a Baptist church known
aw "The (Vomer," near Wellford,
Spartanburg county. Fowler gave
himself up and Is in Jail. The
trouble occurred at a "hot supper,"
and followed a difficulty between the
two negroes.
The shotgun Fowler used Is said
to have been picked up by him in
!ho corner of the room where it had
been placed by a negro who had
boon bunting during the day.
