In 1008 I eumo to Florida for my
lirst trip, I thought I would take
in every place as I went. When I
arrived at Pine Mount I gH olT the
train to see the town. I saw a larye
store near the dc pot and went in and
stayed some time. The clerk seeme
1 to be very busy. I looked at the
clerk a good many 1 itnes and tin ught
1 had seeu him in fere but was not
sure. The peop'o called him Mr
Hardee and then I remembered seeng
him about 17 or 18 years at
Florence, S. C., and had never sc n
b m any more until I came to this
place Mr Hardee is doing well in
Florida and has a host of friends.
