1 sec much is being said about the
Sunday train. What do you all
think about it? 1 think it is the
worse thing that ever happened to
our county. It is even worse than
the dispensary. The dispensary just
took along the hoys and the Sunday
train takes Loth the boys and girls
along when they ought to bo in a
Sunday school studying the word of
God.y The go to the ticket ollice and
throw down their money to ride on
the devil's angel to the beach. That
money is gone and they will never
get it back again. If they will give
that money to God's service tiiey
will get ii all back, for God promises
us four-fourths to one. If they will
out their monev in God's service
thcv will get four times that much. ||

and better Sabbath school?. The i
Bible says train a child up in the
way it should go and when it gets
old it will not depart from it. If it
is trained up to go to the beach on
the devil's Hying angel ic will go
perdition. Tlic Sunday train is a
ruination to our churches and Sabbath
schools and any church member
who goes on it ought to be
handled in the church. It is a sin
The liible says remember the Sabbath
day and keep it holy. You are
not keeping it holy by going to the
beach. You have six other days to
go to the beach instead of going on
the Sabbath. It seems like to me
that some people arc not going to
hell as fast as they want to, so they
have got on the devil's Hying angel
so they can get thereU little faster.
I f judgment day was to come upon
the people while they were on the
Sunday train, they would say oh,
I wish I had went to Sunday school,
but it would ho too laie. It is not
right U. ride on it an Sunday; neither
is it right to keep company with
those that do ride on it. But you
. cant expect any better of the boys
and girls when the older heads set
the example for them. When you
set an example before your children
it should be a good one. You should
never set a bad example before your
children. Let us hear from ail on

Architect Leitnor was in Conway
recently con'erring with the members
of the Melhodist church concerning
the p an for the new church
which is proposed to he built on the f
s to as the old one. The new plans I
which were exhibited by Mr L itner J!
show a mission style of architecture g
and acco ding to the plana the new g
building would present a most beau- g
tiful appearance. It is proposed to a
use only a part of the present church
mostly the foundation and most of
the windows, and the addition would
extend out from the present north
wall of the church to Fifth Avenue
on which street the new front would
bo located In the snace now used
as a Sunday school room there would
he a choir room, music cabinet, pastor's
study, etc., and in front of the
pulpit and altar the auditorium, according
to the new plans, will be 55
feet m length, and with the galleries
which will extend around both sides,
having a seating capacity of more
than 000. The outside is to bo of
stucco work, ami yellow tiles will
# probably be used for roofing. To
make the additions to the church
* which ore contemplated by these
plans it will he necessary to remove
live or six grates which are situated
between the end of the present
