The many friends of Miss Daisy (Jasque,
and of her family, will bo glad to
read of her wedding at the home of her
parents at Jacksonville, Fla., as told by
the following clipping from a Jacksonville
paper:
Miss Daisy Shillings Uusqueand Mr LeHoy
Urmau White were married at (?
o'clock lust evening in the presence of
relatives and a few intimate friends. The
wedding took place at S'JS Park street, the t
home of the bride's father and mother
Mr and Mrs William S Uasque.
Although tho invitation list was restricted
the relatives- and friends who _
gathered to witness thia pretty home wed- ~
ding tilled tho spacious rooms of the first V
tloor.
'I ho house was a bower of green. ?
Waving bamboo and luxuriant palms and
ferns were everywhere. In the reception
hall the banisters were twined with Southern
smilax and all the chandeliers were
adorned with this vine. The lace cur- p.<
tains and portieres were draped with .

While the wedding guests were waiting :

dick played most beautifully. The bridal
party came down the stairs through
the reception hall dining room and par- S
lors making a charming picture.
In an alcove in the drawing room a large ?
white wedding bell was suspended and
under it tho couple stood during the cere- v
mony which was performed by Kev J A
Hendry. ;t
The bride wore a distinctly beautiful jgown
of white crepe de chine elaborately
trimmed with baby Irish and silk fringe .
and made en train. Her bridal veil of 11
tulle was caught to her hair with lilies of
the valley and she carried an arm bouquet ~
of daisies j
Delicious refreshments were served /
during the reception which followed the j ?
ceremony. Mrs William S Gasque was
assisted by her daughter, Miss Rosa Gas
que and Mrs I, 1' Hamilton, Mrs W I.
Graddrlck and Miss li. rtie Brooks.
Mr and Mrs White have gone to visit
the relatives of Mr White in Orlando,
They will reside in Tampa, to the regret
of their friends here. The going away
gown of the bride was a brown silk coat
and skirt suit with hat to match.
The presents sent the bride were magnificent.
The array of cut glass, hand
j some china and silver was a most Hatter 1
leg tribute to the popularity of the young J
couple.
