Sunday marked a new era in the
history in Conway, For the first
time a Sunday train was run from

Now we want better passenger accommodations
in the way of a new
passenger depot?an umbrella shod,
if you please, if we cannot #et anything
better for any old thin# would
be a decided improvement on the
present arrangement.
There was one tiling which marred
the full onjovinent of the trip to the
beach last Sunday, and that was the
scarcity of water both on the train
and at the hotel. Some of tho excursionists
actually suffered. Otherwise
the accommodations wore all
that could be reasonably desired and
the
the trip was a very enjoyable
trip.
We say that $20,000 could be easily
raised in Conway in a single day as
subscription the capital stock of a
cotton seed mill, yet we find the
business interest of Conway apparently
careless and indliferent
concerning this matter. Certain it
is that not very much enthusiasm is
manifested. Is it because tho people
do not wish to sec Conway grow?
We can assign no other reason for
this inactivity.
