COMMENCEMENT EXERCISES The commencement exercises of |1 Burroughs Hitfh School are now I underway. Yesterday the Rev Mr ^ Gillespie preached Baccalaureate ~ Serinou and the other exercises wore carried out. Ross Johnson Herbert Floyd May Gold (inch Jessie Avcrill MUSIC Frank Thomp- I Henry Langssoil I ton MUSIC DECISION OF COMMITTEE Thursday Eve May 27, 8 p. m, THE FAIRY WEDDING SYNOPSIS:- The story rep resents a Fairy Wedding attended l>y frogs, brownies, butterflies and the fairies The opening 5] scene is the woodland with a frog concert, brownie revelry and butterfly drill, which is interrupted bv the Queen of the bad fairies, who is angry and plans to thwait the wedding feast. The second scene is in the bad fairy's grotto where their Q.uoou discloses her scheme to nut the fairy train to sleep and postpone the wedding, but her plan is overheard by the tree toad, who hastens awav to present the mischief. Next scene is the entrance of the Fairv Queen and ) Prince with their attendants, who are to receive the curse of the bad iairios, and their entire train falls asleep, during which ?a time the Fairy Queen is stolen away bv the wicked fairies. But through the watchful- p uess of the loyal tree load the lovely Queen is restored and thesceue cloaes with a fairy ball and fairv wedding.
