Dots from Dojr Bluff.
Farmers about through planting
corn and are turning their attention
to other crop? and farm work.
In a recent issue "Slv Coon" said
that there were no weddings to report,
but 1 want to say that we had
a marriage on Saturday afternoon,
March the 20th, the contracting par- S
ties being W M Edwards and Aliss
Maggie, daughter of Mr F Lawson,
of Galivants Fcrrv. The ceremony I
was performed by Mr C R Jenkins, j
Notary Public. May the wings of j
their pleasure never lose a feather |
and may their paths always be B
strewn with sunshine and (lowers. k
But I want to say a few words |
about what took place the night af I
ter the marriage. A party of about 8
t-wentv-two gathered and with conks 9
and sweeps and cow bells gave the
liewlyweds a vigorous, if not harmonious,
serenade. Night was made
hidiotis by the conglomeration of tl e

Three Deaths Near Macedonia.
The death angel visited the home
of J F Hardee and took away his
son, Nathan, on the 2nd Sunday in
March, and on the 3rd Sunday the
home of Mrs Sarah Causee was
darkened by the presence of the
grim reaper. On the 4th Sunday
Mrs Mary Jane Todd fell asleep,
This makes three deaths in three
weeks in sight of each other. These
events made sad times in the community.
Little Nathan was 12 years,
9 months and 5 days old.
He was the idol of the family,
A loving one trcm us is gone,
The voice we loved is stilled,
A place made vacant in our home,
Which never can be filled.
Aunt Sarah was the relict of the
late John Causee. She was a loving
wife, tender mother, a true Christian
and a kind neighbor. She loved

she has gone to live in the mansion
above where Jesus reigns.
They leave a host of friends to
mourn their loss, but they hope that
our loss is their eternal gain.
