On Friday morning about 12
o'clock tho death angel visited the
home of Mr. and Mrs. J- B. Morse,
and carried awav their loving
daughter Miss Annie Lillian Morse,
it was hard to part with her but we
have to give our loved ones up but
we hope our loss is her eternai gain,
We all know that Lillian is gone
to rest for she was a good girl and
lovecl everybody.
She was a member of the Clarendon
M. E. Church and also a member
of the Sunday School in which
she took a great interest,
She leaves a father, mother, sister
and one brother and a host of friend
and relatives to mourn their loss.
She was a pupil of the Clarendon
GJaded School . She talked of her
school mates all the time durinir
illness, she loved them all so well,
they will miss her in the school room.
It was hard to part with her but the
Lord kuoweth best, she was taken
for some good purpose we know not
what, but we should not grieyo over
her, she told mama nob to cry for
she was going home and that wo all
believe and hopo we will all meet
her there some day.
She was sick only 9 days when her
dear father called her to that beautiful
homo above whore no sad parting
or farewell tears are shed:
We thank our many Iriends for
their kindness during her illness. We
regret the loss of our daughter and
sister, but ^e|know that we will see
her again. Dear Lillian was born
May the 11th, 1892 and died December
4th 1908.
Tho remains were laid to rest
Sunday afternoon at the Clarendon
Cemetery where-a largo crowd of
her school mates gathered to see
their loving friend Lillian laid to
rest. The funeral services were
conducted by her pastor, Rev. E. I.
Sawyer. Iler loving sister
