THURSDAY. DEC 17, 1008.
Many important changes in busi- i
ness circles of more or less import-j
ance are spoken of for the coming
year.
Nearly every one is anticipating*
a very enjoyable time during the
days of the Yule tide and Good
Cheer. May all their bright anticipations
be fully realized.
What joyful news it would be 1o
be able to announce that a joint stock
company had been formed to build a
cotton factory and cotton seed oil
mill for Conway, but we are sorry
to say we cannot. However, we are]
living in hope if wo die is despair.
It is reported that the early days
of the new year will witness the
commencement of the erection of
two new brick store houses in Conway
Wo understand that it is not
yet decided whether they will be one
or two stories.'Conway certainly has
enough valuable vacant lots along

when they will be.

remedies. Hall's Catarrh Cure is
taken internally, and acts directly on the
blood and the mucous surfaces. Ilall's
Catarrh Cure is not a quack medicine.
It was precribed by one of the best physicians
in the count ry for years and it is a
regular prescription. It is composed of
the best tonics known, combined with the
best blood purifiers, acting directly on the
mucous surfaces. The perfect combination
of the two ingredients is what produces
such wonderful results in curing

Mr Ludlam Dissected
Briefly replying to Mr Ludlam, I
desire to say that I am sure he is
honest in his convictions but am
sorry to say that he is without the
Spirit to teach him. Jesus says, If
"I T til 1 .U-n- '
a away a win seuu iuuv/umiorter;
he shall teach you all things, and
bring all things to your remembrance.
I praise God for the blessed
Holy Ghost that he is pouring
out upon his children iu this day and
time. I praise him for leading even
me in the way and showing mo the
true light on the gospel of Christ.
He saves mo from sin and sauctifies
me and gives me the blessed Holy
Ghost. When he came in this temple
of mine ho spoke for himself. ()!
glory to God for the Bible evidence
of speaking in tongues as the Spirit
gives utterance, O! I am so glad 1
am one of tongue folk that the world
hate so hard. Praise God he can
work and no man can hinder, I
praise God for speaking through me
in another tongue and it is edifying
to me, glory be to his name!
