Health of the community is generally
good with some few exceptions.
The Daisy school is progressing

Rev J . W. Todd has just closed a
meeting of days at liculah. Wo
feel that it hns done much and lastinn
good. There were four or five
conversions.

Gauso will be preached on the first
Sunday in November at the Thompson
burying ground near the Daisy
school house. The funeral will be
preached by Rev J. W. Todd. Every

Last Sunday there was nn excursion
run from Allen to Hickory
Grove church and ots of the young
folks from Allen attended. It was
ably conducted "oy T. Conny Jordan.
Will Thompson, who has been
confined to his bed for many weeks,
is out again.
E. Presley, Johnson of this place,
has nurchased a fine farm no.sir Al.
len on which he is erecting a lino
dwelling which will add much to the
appearance of the placo. iMr Johnson
came from the Lake Swauip
section about two years ago and is
an energetic young man. We hope
him nu ch success.
