music department, James Mitchell,
a graduate of Furman University,
who is the new Principal, a now
professor. It. C. Hunter, of Newberry,
and a new lady teacher, Miss
Margaret. Murphy, Sevoral families
are moving to Conwav for the
purpose of taking advantage of this
well equipped institute. Miss Bryan
and her mother will occupy the
cottage next door to B, T. Hyrnan,
and will keep a hoarding house for
the students.

friends, spent last Friday in Conway.
Mr and Mrs Stalvey will soon
return to south-west Georgia, where
Mr Stalvey is engaged iu the practice
of law.

here several years ago in the livery

has purchased tho stock of Mr Griffin.
Sheriff 13. J. Sessions was busy
last week summoning jurors and
witnesses from the various sections
of the county.

were all pleasant caller last
week.
Parker Rabon, of Socastee, spent
a day in Conway last week.

spent a night in Conway last week
