WOODWARD, Kditor " THURSDAY, SEPT ' ?. 1908. For some days past the trains from Chadbourn have been delayed several hours in thoir arrival at Conway. High waters along the Chadbourn road and its connections was the cause. The days of the sore and yellow loaf are coining on apace. Conway merchants are all showing lovely creations in fall and winter goods. The number of new subscribers coining is very gratifying and en couragiug to the Horald. Conway is now going to make big headway in the waj of development. The grounds surrounding the court house ?nd jail would look well if set out in a grove of shade trees. A little less politics and more attention to business would be better for Conway an its people. Travel between Conway and Myrtle beach has again been interrupted an account of high water and the saw mills hereabouts have shutdown for the same reason. Deafness.Cnnnot t>e Cured by local applications, as they cannot roach the diseased portion of the car The is only one way to cure deafness and that is by constitutional remedies. Deafness is caused by an inflamed condition of the mucous lining of the Eustachian Tube. When this tube is Inflamed you have a rumbling sound or imperfect hearing, and when it is entirely closed, deafness is the result, and unless the influmation can be taken out and this tube restored to its normal condition, hearing will be destroyed forever; nine cases outof ten are caused by iCatarrh, which is nothing but an inflamed condition of the mucous' surfueo.
