The Board of Supervisors of Registration met in the court house last Monday as usual. The board consists of Messrs J M Dorman G C Butler jr., and W L Bellamy. When you want a county paper have your name placed on a list that is already large and still growing. The Herald has gained several hundred new subscribers during the new year. All the teachers of the Burroughs Graded School have been reelected for the next term beginning next September. Some of them however may resign. The Herald is informed that it is intended to add a male principal to the teaching force, and | also that a department of music will be added next fall, W A Moore, surveyor, has been employed for some time in making a survey of the lands of Horry Land & Improvement Company lying in and near the corporation. He will make a plat of the entire property. The names of Miss Ora Tyler and Mr C K Harrelson were omitted in some way from the list of those obtaining certificates published in the paper last week.
