There was very nice music ana singing py the young folks which was enjoyed by all. A. speech was uiado by Mr Carter in which he frankly expressed his Ifratitudo to the audience for the many donations he had icceived and made them welcome of the kindness he dad rendered them in time past. He seemed proud he had lived sixtyfour years and conducted himself in a way to be honored in old age by his many friends. The exercises closed by singing, "Pass me not O! gentle Savior." Good order was preserved and everybody enjoyed themselves very much. There will be an entertainment at the home of Geo. A.
