Coleman was called to his home at Centenary Sunday afternoon bv the illness of his father Mrs. flurry S. Collins, who has been visiting at the home of her mother. Mrs. F. CI. Johnson, has returned home accompanied by her sister. Miss Lou Johnson. Mrs. J. N. Wright is spending the summer in the mountains. Miss Winnie Ilolliday and Francis are visiting relatives in Georgetown. Miss Bessie Gatlin, who has ben visiting the Misses Johnson, has returned to her home in Conway. Miss Brown of Cheraw is spending sometime with the Misses Wright. A very pleasant entertainment was given the young people recently at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Moody There was quite a crowd present and tin* occasion was enjoyed by all. J.
