We farmers are glad to report a nice rain which was the first in a good while, we hope we can get a stand of cotton and tobacco. Mr. Kditor 1 have been a close reader of your valuable paper and ant glad to find that it is improving. We all as young boys and girls should seek to improve ourselves? in every possible way by reading good literature and keeping the right kind of company, any other kiod of reading except of good books will lead the mind astray, good literu ture wih build up our minds and improve our character. My young friends one of th?i greatest mistake we make i s when we allow ourselves to keep bad com panv any one is al ways known by the company the\ keep. It won't be long befo. e we wil have to take the place of our oh fathers and run the a flairs of the county and while we have the oppor tunitv we should seek to be a credit to them and ourselves in order that we may be bet ter tilted to rule and govern our country.
