A train coining from toward s Myrtle Beach was making last time 'v around a curve and blew the signal ^ for lhe bridge. The train ran into j, the siding and violently collided j with the locomotive. Engineer Fitehet stuck to his engine and did all he could to prevent the accident. ? It was wonderful that he escaped j injury. Lake view as its name suggests is situated on the bank of the beauti ful Kingston Lake. The home is at all times a beautiful one, but was even more soon this occasion by rca son of the artistic manner in which it was decorated. As one approached, the eye was attracted by the many brilliant lights extending from the broad circular piazzas. At the door you were met by Mrs. J. C. Spivey, sister of the bride, and Miss Eulie Tis dale beautifully attired for the occasion, who took your wraps, and led you to the door of the second parlor where vou were met bv Mrs F A I ? Burroughs dressed in a handsome changeable silk with all over lace and ribbon. In this room you met k the bride and groom, looking as 1 young and happy as they did fifteen years ago. They were seated in a cozy corner 1 beneath a bower of green. 1 Suspended above their heads were the letters "D" and ,4M." The bride was attired in a becoming white j dress with lace trimmings while the groom wore the customary coat and vest with light trousers and white ( i ie. < After congratulations were over you were shown to the dining room and seated This apartment was 1 presided over by Miss Bessie llur ( roughs, gowned in organdy with pink ribbons, and Miss Mary Harris At water, in organdy and blue rib * bons. The color scheme of the 1 dining room was red and green. It was lighted by a large red lamp and and rows of candles on the two sides * of the loom and the red crepe paper was festooned from the center of the room to the four corners of the table. \ A salad course was served follow ed by cake and coffee. After leaving the dining room the quests assembled in the parlor and , the hallway where they spent , the remaining portion of the evening. * At 11 o'clock the last guest had < hade the bride and groom good , night and everyone pronounced it a very enjoyable evening. ? ? - ???
