Ward, as ho was going homo along
the road leading over the Kingston
Lake bridge, was attracted by \
strange sounds coming from the ^
road side at a point some distance ; j
from the ship yard Looking-over a o
small embankment, near a pine tree c;
he saw a man evidently in a d.\ing
condition. Mr / ard returned and
gave the information at the hotel
and in a few minutes several friends ?
of the unfortunate man were on mo i!
scene, lie was taken to his hotel Ja
and Doctors Norton and Dusenonry y

The doctors worked hard to save u
his life and on Sunday afternoon, he o
was greatly improved. His condi j
was still better on Monday morning
but by Tuesday he began to sink ^
and grew weaker until Tuesday ev- Lening
when he died. On the ground
