Those. let.te??e ?? ?> sent out by lady agents of the con corn, who claim that they are receiving twenty dollars per month for the work, and in each letter they offer similar employment to the lady addressed as soon as she complies with conditions set forth. The condition upon which this employment is offered, is that the lady addressed must lirst send in her or. der for so many dozen cherry trees enclosing $25, to pay for them. As soon as the order is received it is promised that the Company will employ her for one year to write let? i ters to friends, making the same olTer stated above, and for writing these letters, the company agrees to pay her $20, per month. The em ploymont is ode red to every lady who will send in her order or the trees. Inst can of getting the trees and selling them a. once, the option is given of sending the money and the Company to hold it until the lady engages the trees to individual purchasers the pay for writing the letters, in this ease, to begin at once while the trees are being sold. The scheme starts into operation an endless chain of letters, and if successful must carry inta the company 's treasury an enormous amount of money. But can such a business pay if all the contracts are fulfilled? It is plain that it can not, because vuc HI'JU tiny ?uiury 101* I no term Of one year is offered to each iady that sends iu the twenty-five dollars. They pay the sum of $240, for each $25, they get in. This would break any business on earth. In our opinion the concern will pay the money for a few months in order to got the scheme started, then, just at the right moment, thev will stop paying their bills, and be better off to the amount of what they have scooped in, in the mean time.
