last Saturday morning by the
bursting of a gun while hunting
squirrels on the edge of n swoop
near Buchanan Parker's Me lior
rowed the gun from Mr Parker and
fired off the old load which had I oon
in the gun for some time, and reloaded
it. It seems that he put in
an overcharge of powder, and when
he pulled the trigger on the fi? >tsquirrel
he found'the barrel of the
gun bursted. part of tic stock of
the gun was torn Into splinters, nnd
his hand seriously hurt by the escaping

badly burned by the powder. Me
