the proper amount of sand and
when it becomes mixed with the

Horry county needs a new court
house. Not, that the present Jbuilding
is not good enough either in materials
or in architectural design.
In these particulars it will answer
very well. The house is entirely too
small. It was large enough for the
county when ihwas built years ago.
Horry was not then what she is
now. She has grown until she needs
h court house much larger than the
one she now has

and a Clerk. The Constitutional oath must
be taken by each Manager before he can
act, and also by the Clerk. The Chairman
elected is empowered to administer oaths.
The Managers have power to till a vacau- (
cy, and if none of the Managers attend,
the citizens can appoint from among the
qualified voters the Managers, who, after
being sworn can conduct the election.
At the close of the election, the Managers
and Cl??rk must proceed publicly to
