With sadness we chronicle th death of sister Kdna Jackson, whic occurred at her home in Floyd' township, near Wanainaker, S. C. on September, .3rd 1809. Her death was unexpe *ted to hot! her husband and friends. She wa a consistent member of Snrdis Ba| tist church, I lorry county. She pre fessed faith in Christ, in August 1889 anei connected herself with th Baptist church at Little Kocle, S. C under the pastorate of Rev. J. I Allen. Sister Jackson with he husband, brother A. I), Ja Kson rc moved from Marion county in Jann ary. 1897, bringing with them letter hiifh commendation from the chare at Dillon. Va.. struck his leg against a cake of ice in such a manner as to bruise it severely. It became very much swollen and pained him ac, badly that he could not walk without the aid of crutches.
