The general topic for the Conven
fcion was "n better Sunday School
work und how to secure it."
The program was regarded the
best we have ever had. The Black
Board, Home Class and House to
House visitation work being a prominent
feature thereon. Temperance
also came in with many interesting
and earnest speeches on Saturday
night, this session being generally
given up to this subject. The
speeches and general discussions
showed a marked improvements,
while the in ports of County and
To.. nSliip officers gave evidence of
much improveni3ut and advancement
in the work.
We have paid this year *30.00 to
the State work and $ to thw
county work. This latter sum however
did not unable us to prosecute
the work as fully as desired, particularly
in the House to House Visitation
aud Home Class work for want
of necessary cards and blanks. Wo
want at least *50 this year 1805, for
State and County work and surely

this amount. The Sunday School
workers of our Couuty aro anxiously
looking forward next spring or summer
to having a Sunday School In
stitute for all the workers, Officers
and Teachers, at which they wish to
huve the State Normal Toucher to
be presept. We want improved and
better nlethods of teaching and more
wide awuke and earnest teachers,
and this is among the very best ways
to get such, and friends will be needed
for this.
The report of the County Secretary
showed un increase over last
year of four Sunday Schools and 392
members und an increase of 4 per
cent*, in -those rupniug the entire
year, beiug now 78 per cent
