A game of Base Ball was played between the Bucksville and Conway nines, the former being the victors. Coxey, the leader of tho Commonweal army with his lieutenants. Brown and Jones, have been sentenced to twenty days in jail, by Judge Miller. Bather rough. A lighter sentence would have sufficed and tho law been vindicated. A Military Court to investigate the action of vofuntear companies regarding the latodisturbance in the State and the Governors orders, is in session at Charleston, composed of Gen. # Uichbourg, Col. Wilie Jones and Capt. J. T. Itarron, Last Friday ovening about sunset, a pleasant party of young ladies and gentlemen boarded the Steamer Uuth on a moonlight excursion to Grahamville. Quite a crowd of our people met at Gillespie's Grove last Saturday and indulged in a happy "pic nic'' occasion, old and young seeming to enjoy themselves very much. A plenty of something good to eat. Soon after the fish began to fry, muttering thunder filled us with alarm and the peltting rain bid fair, or foul, to dissipate our enjoyment, yet we succeeded in getting through with dinner before the rain came, when we sought the best protection possible until the shower was over. Georgetown, May 32.-Special: Fire was discovered tp-day about 3 o'clock iu tho dry kilns of the Gardnor & Baccy I.umber Company, situated on the peninsula opposite the city. The kilns were almost entirely destroyed, together with about sixty thousand feet of cypress lumber. The lost is estimated at about $3,000, These kilns were partially destroyed by fire about six \yeeks ago and had only been rebuilt and running again a few days. Prohibition.
