Burroughs, surveyor, has made a complete diagram of the route recently run from Conway to the beach. It is a nice piece of work and reflects credit upon the designer. Kihtoh IIciMi.n:?The Horry; County Alliance held its first quurterly session in Conwuy 13th, inst., under very favorable auspices. About 80 per cent of the Subs, were represented by delegates, and some others by letter. Routine of business was unusually interesting and liarmon ious. For some time the order has been grndu tlly decreasing in number; but present reports stiow that it is in better working condition than at any' time previous. The small business established in Conway by tin* County Alliance is not largely pa tronized, l>u: is paying expenses and is quite an accommodation to many of tin* brethren. The Stale is offer ing trade advantages more favorable than ever before; and we predict an increase of membership in the near future to take advantage of it. The County Alliance has devised means by which to reinstate all thedofunet alliances of the county. The Lecturer was insti noted to visit all the sulis of the county and show the no i cessityof ordering, at least fertilizers, another year through the exchange.
