down here just now. It is too
early yet by some months. The
fanners are busy preparing for the
year's crops and are not in'erestinj*
selves in any political develop
ments. It has been mentioned that
probably the fact that the farmers
were too busv to get interested is one
reason why the recent d vclopnu'iit
in political circles were allowed to
got into the papers so fully. The
March Convention will probably
open pome eyes and make some polit
ical opinions in this county. As to
county politics, it may be stated that
there aro indications that there will
be considerable change in lite personnel
of county officials. Such
cannot of course, be stated with any
degree of certainty yet; for election
