A mot'on abolishing foes and dues laid over from last meeting was passed; so that now there is no reason why every ex Confederate Soldier in Horry county may not have his name on the Association's hooks. Every means possible to interest the old soldiers in pre serving the record of Horry's men during the late war for their own and posterity's sake is being used.
